San Diego State University announced Thursday that it would participate
next
year in the first student and professor exchange with the University
of Havana.
SDSU International Business Program director Steven Loughrin,
who is promoting
the exchange, said the program was based on the hope that students
in the
United States and Cuba would ``one day be business associates.''
During the 15-week exchange, students from California will receive
classes in
business administration and the market economy from the University
of Havana's
perspective.
