PARIS, Jan 21 (Reuters) - The international press freedom watchdog
Reporters without Borders (RsF) said a Cuban journalist had been jailed
for
four years for "dangerous social behavior."
RsF said Jesus Joel Diaz Hernandez, a correspondent for the cooperative
of
independent journalists CAPI, was detained on Monday and sentenced the
following day in Moron.
RsF said Diaz Hernandez had gone on hunger strike and his relatives had
appealed against the sentence.
The group said two other journalists were in prison in Communist Cuba:
Bernardo Arevalo Padron, jailed in 1997 for six years, and Manuel
Gonzalez who was held three months ago and is awaiting trial.
