29 Rebels Killed In Cuban Fighting

HAVANA, Oct . 31- Twenty-nine rebels were killed and many others were wounded in an encounter with Government troops near El Cristo, army headquarters said today. Four Government soldiers were killed and three wounded, the army said.
Other sources said fierce fighting was in progress at
Guardalavaca,
about twenty miles from Banes, Oriente Province, a center of
United States
owned plantations.
