Rafael de la Cova recounts Fidel Castro's failed attack on the Cuban
Army on July 26, 1953. The author relays that Raul and Fidel
Castro led a party of 160 people on assaults of two Cuban army
posts. Quikly turned back by the army and defeated the author
contends that Fidel Castro used the skirmish for his own
propaganda purposes. Mr. de la Cova also asserts that the events
that conspired on July 26 put in motion Castro's ascension to
power. Rafael de la Cova delivers his talk at Books & Books
bookstore in Coral Gables, Florida.
