HOUSTON - Orlando Sanchez, who is bidding to become the city's first
Hispanic mayor, won the backing of former President Bush and his wife,
Barbara.
``We've lived here since 1960 and I believe we need new leadership,'' Bush
said Tuesday.
The Cuban-born Sanchez, a Republican, faces incumbent Democrat Lee
Brown in a nonpartisan runoff on Dec. 1.
