Dissident is sentenced to 4 years in labor camp
HAVANA -- A municipal court on Thursday sentenced dissident Lazaro
Constantine Duran to four years in a labor camp after he was convicted
as a
``danger to society,'' the official Prensa Latina news agency reported.
Constantine, 38, who was involved in clashes between opposition and government
supporters in August and November, will serve the sentence in a special
work
center, the agency said.
The agency said he was accused of meeting with people engaged in ``antisocial
conduct'' and violating community standards.
